This is a song by Meja entitled “Do the Angels have a Home?” this is a really a feel good song. I’ve been looking for it for ages and i can’t seemed to find it! A friend of mine downloaded this song and made me listen to it. I feel in love with the song immediately. And the funny thing about it is that the friend who made me listen to the song is one of my friends whom i consider one of my angels. Though she might not be aware of it, i am thankful for everything she did to me! I’m really lucky to have met my own angels…
God bless and may you help more people…
you know who ever you are…

“Let me tell you something. I came here to win a trophy. And on the face of it Ted Ray or I should carry it off. Not for you, not for England, but for sheer bloody pride at being the best, *that’s* why we do this. And if Mr. Ouimet wins tomorrow, it’s because he’s the best, because of who he is. Not who his father was, not how much money he’s got, because of who he bloody is! And I’ll thank you to remember that. And I’ll thank you to show the respect a gentleman gives as a matter of course.”
Harry Vardon from the movie The Greatest Game Ever Played
The greatest Game Ever Played is another true to life story of a boy who dreamed of being famous and followed his idol’s footsteps in golf. Shia LaBeouf played Francis Ouiment is from a poor family. And against his father’s wishes he followed his dream of playing golf with his idol Harry Vardon. His father was against him playing golf; he said that what good it would do if you can’t gain money with it. Ouiment was entered the tournament as an amateur so he won’t get anything even if he wins the title. Even with his father’s blessing he still joined the tournament. Many had criticized his abilities for he was really young back then only 20 and with no name in the golf community. But was able to prove them all wrong he won the cup beating his idol at the end. After the match he was able to prove to the world he was the best! And he eventually got his father to understand why he’s doing it.
The character went a lot of hardship in order to reach his goal of being the best. That’s also similar in life. We must face all this demons that would tell us other wise. All we have to do is be strong and never let them get to you. Stay focus on your goal and you’ll be victorious in the end! And all those people who doubted you will magically disappear. Just like what the quote said it doesn’t rely on where you came from, it’s all about who you are! So don’t ever forget that all you need to succeed is yourself and you determination to be the best.

“You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.”
Christopher Gardner from the movie Pursuit of Happyness
This movie is a true to life story of a father who is willing to do anything to protect his son. Will Smith really did a great job with this movie, and I’d have to say this is one of those films that really inspire you to do better in life. Will’s character Chris was a salesman. His earnings was never enough to take care of his family that’s why his wife left him. He didn’t want to be away from his kid, so he took the liberty of taking care of him. He felt the need to do better for his son’s welfare so he decided he’d join a company of stockbrokers. He got the chance he wanted one day when the company offered an internship. He immediately applied for the job never knowing that he wouldn’t get paid for it.
Chris life was never easy he experienced his lowest moment when he had to stay at a homeless shelter for a number of times because he can’t pay his rent. He’d give everything he has in order to be where he is right now! A millionaire…
I think it’s pretty similar to what we are all having now… we have to face all the hardship in order to get the great reward in the end. I guess it’s like making yourself worthy of the prize at the end! If you are on your lowest moment right now there can be no other way after it but up! So never give up the battle! Just think about what greatness it would bring in your life in the future…
NEVER stop dreaming at the same time stay awake to make them all come true!

“In the period of which we speak, there reigned in the cities a stench barely conceivable to us modern men and women. Naturally, the stench was foulest in Paris, for Paris was the largest city in Europe. And nowhere in Paris was that stench more profoundly repugnant than in the city’s fish-market. It was here then, on the most putrid spot in the whole kingdom, that Jean-Baptiste Grenouille was born on the 17th of July, 1738. It was his mothers fifth birth, she delivered them all here under her fish-stand, and all had been stillbirths or semi-stillbirths. And by evening the whole mess had been shoveled away with the fish-guts into the river. It would be much the same today, but then… Jean-Baptiste chose differently. “
Narrator from the movie Perfume
The story is about an unknown person with a special skill! Jean has a very sensitive sense of smell which makes him different from the others…I thinks there’s a bit of Jean in all of us! I mean have you ever wanted something so badly that you’d be wiling to do anything to have it? A want that would later become an obsession like what Jean had when he smelled the scent of a woman for the first time! That was the turning point for him! He finally found his purpose. He wanted to preserve that special scent only he can smell. And that same obsession would later turn out to be the cause of his death!Like us we are all unknown in this world looking for our personal purpose. Some die without even knowing it while others are lucky to find it just in time. But if ever we know what it is are we prepared to risk everything we have work for just to achieve that purpose? Jean found out his own purpose and he was ready to give up everything just to fulfill it! He had a talent which no one has and he can be famous if he’d choose to. But that wasn’t he had in mind. The story also highlighted the part where Jean discovered that he has no scent of his own. He can smell everything he had touched and eat but can’t smell his own scent! Somewhat like what we do we try to cover up our own identity with something we think is appropriate and hide our true self! I don’t know what are we so afraid of…

“I have to tell you this and you need to hear it. I loved you since I met you, but I wouldn’t allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead, making decisions soaked with fear… Today, because of you… what I learned from you; every choice I made was different and my life has completely changed… and I’ve learned that if you do that, then you’re living your life fully… it doesn’t matter if you have five minutes or fifty years. Samantha if not for today, if not for you I would never have known love at all… So thank you for being the person who taught me to love… and to be love. “
Ian Wyndham from If Only
How often do you say i love you? Or do you say i love you only when you really mean it or when you feel like saying it?
It is very important telling somebody how we really feel because we my not have the chance of having a next time…Don’t let any moment go to waste when you are with your loved ones… Do everything to make them happy… Never let anything come in-between you and your love… This is what i’ve learn after seeing this movie (and of course I cried a lot)
Luckily Ian was given a chance to relive the final moment he had with Sam…He was able to correct all his faults!
But if you were given that same chance would you give your life for your partner? Of course you will but think about it this way… Have you seen how Ian looked when he learned that Sam died? How devastating would that be to the person you’ve left and especially if they knew that you’ve given your life for them! Are you really willing to leave that guilt to your partner? Of course you’ll die a hero for saving someone else’s life but what would your love one feel? Am i making sense? I know i made you think right?
Just spend as much time with your love ones you’ll never know when they will be taken from you…Don’t waste any moment…

“You must know… surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke with my aunt last night, and it has taught me to hope as I’d scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on. “
Mr. Darcy from the movie Pride and Prejudice
AS this quote clearly show i’m one of those hopelessly romantics and want to marry a Mr. Darcy someday :) a man that is not afraid to show his feelings no matter what others my think or say…I also like how he secretly admired Elisabeth, all his secret glances and all the little things like holding Lizzy’s hand for the first time or the way he would look into her eyes… It makes me jealous actually where did all those guys go? Or is Mr. Darcy just one of a kind… Truly Jane Austen must have some basis with all her works right? All this won’t have been just a figure of her imagination… She must have met the real life Mr. Darcy in her time… Right?
I’ve seen the film for the nth times( i don’t keep count!) but i can’t seemed to get enough of it. I don’t know, the story seemed to have some special connection with me. Well for one thing its my dream love story and i’ve watched a lot of great love stories…but none seemed to surpass this movie in my opinion…
All the characters are perfectly created… For example i’ve always wanted to be like Elisabeth! A strong, opinionated and very likable woman…And Mr. Darcy! well need i say more (his my future husband!)
I could just go on and on about this film, i can even tell the whole story in great detail if you want… but i know you’ve all watch it and can relate to what i want to say… Well this is all for now and i hope you’ll continue to visit my page… expect more film reviews and pictures here for this is the two things i love to do…
ciao
